I have been working at Bowring part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Sales associates are like a family to me

    Cons

The worst company to work for. I could write pages of horror stories. Head office consistently throws employees under the bus. I have had moth long email chains with Head Office and then they completely forgot I ever emailed them. I have worked every position from Manager to Sales associate and NEVER received a raise. Management will not EVER support you. The only reason I stay is because I love the women I work with, who are also suffering along with me

    I worked at Bowring full-time

    Pros

Very little external supervision, allowing employees to really run their stores and gain valuable experience. Great creative outlet, allowing employees to create pleasing displays to drive sales.

    Cons

Very heavy work load with expected work after shift end or beginning. Back rooms very overcrowded with little space for employees to relax during breaks or lunches.

    I worked at Bowring part-time

    Pros

Easy Shift. Nothing much to do and tasks are pretty simple. Good for people who have virtual sense to work in

    Cons

Cannot sit while on shift which gave really sore feet at the end of the day. Too many fragile items around to store.
